Paddy stored in procurement centers got soaked and spoiled, which has increased the fear of delay in government procurement.

Power supply has been completely cut off in many villages. Small farmers are burdened with debt, and now they are in urgent need of crop insurance and compensation.

Farmers have demanded that the government immediately conduct a survey of the damage and provide assistance. According to meteorologists, more rain is likely in the coming days, which may worsen the situation.

The Department of Agriculture has advised farmers to take immediate steps to preserve their ready crops.
