He said that the Chief Minister made fun of the Supreme Court and the judiciary with his statements and made misleading statements on the issue of defection in the Assembly. Speaking to the media in the Assembly, he said that by-elections are inevitable and he is confident that the Supreme Court’s decision will come in favor of the BRS.

He vowed to continue questioning the defected MLAs till their disqualification. Kaushik Reddy criticised the government’s approach to handling law and order issues, saying that when he raised questions on it in the Assembly, no response was given.

He pointed out the attack on his residence by defected MLA A.A. Gandhi and his supporters, saying that the government has not taken any action so far.

He accused the police of colluding with ruling party leaders and demanded the suspension of officials who supported the attackers.

“If the MLAs themselves are not safe, then what will happen to the common people?” he asked. He said that a complaint was filed regarding tapping of their phones, but no action has been taken so far.

He suggested that the Congress government should focus on fulfilling its election promises instead of targeting opposition leaders.
