Hyderabad: Slamming Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, BRS working president KT Rama Rao objected to the government’s continuous demolition drive. He said the government is destroying the homes of people and animals in the name of environmental protection and development.
He asked whether Revanth Reddy is running the government or a bulldozer company. In a social media post, KT Rama Rao said that the Revanth Reddy government first demolished the houses of the poor people in the name of Musa Riverfront Development Project.
Later, Lagachara and its surrounding tribal areas were declared wasteland and demolition operations were carried out there. Now, efforts are being made by destroying the animal habitat in the University of Hyderabad.
