Hyderabad: Customs officials at Hyderabad’s Shamshabad Airport arrested a passenger coming from Bangkok whose luggage contained wild animals.
Customs officials said that during the search of the passenger’s luggage, a lizard, a turtle, and a lizard-like reptile were seized. These animals were hidden in the luggage, which was confiscated.
These animals were sent to Bangkok. The passenger was arrested. He is being questioned to find out on whose behalf he tried to smuggle these animals.
