Hyderabad: The issue of Class 10th exam paper leak that took place in Nikrikal in Nalgonda district of Telangana has been challenged in the High Court. Class 10th student Jhansi Lakshmi has filed a petition in the High Court regarding this issue.
Petitioner Jhansi Lakshmi complained that the Education Department authorities had debarred her by holding her responsible for the paper leak incident.
She has requested the court to cancel her D-bar and allow her to write the exams.
In her petition, Jhansi Lakshmi has named the Secretary of the Education Department, Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, DEO of Nalgonda, MEO and the Superintendent of the Nikrical Examination Centre as parties.
The High Court has directed all the respondents to present their stand by April 7.
Jhansi Lakshmi has said in her petition that she is suffering the consequences of the mistakes of the authorities and some individuals and that she is being made a scapegoat despite being innocent.
